Noli on Viber.
In much of Southern and Eastern Europe, Viber is where customers actually read messages. Noli gives you a branded bot on it - the same AI agent, the same points balance, in an app they already have open.
Getting the channel
Viber does not let anyone register a bot on their own - a partner has to request it, and Viber creates it by hand. Noli is that partner, so the whole path runs from Settings → Viber. It needs the Viber / WhatsApp add-on active on your plan.
The add-on is bought from that page before the request goes out, but the first charge comes 14 days later - by which point Viber have created the bot and the channel is working. You are not paying for something that does not exist yet, and if the request falls through, cancelling inside those 14 days means no charge at all.
- Fill in the request. Viber's own Chatbot Information Form, as a form in your admin - bot name, URI, category, description, website, and the phone of whoever will administer the bot. We prefill what we already know about your store.
- We send it to Viber. A quick review on our side, then it goes to Viber's partner team under our partner account. You can watch the status on the same page.
- Viber creates the bot and we email you. Turnaround is theirs, not ours - usually a few working days.
- You paste the token. Viber shows the API key only inside the mobile app, on the phone the bot was created from. Copy it in, and the channel is live - we validate the key and set the webhook for you.
The administrator's phone must already be registered in Viber. It is the single most common reason a request comes back, and it is also the phone you will read the token from later - so use one you actually have in hand.
Finding your token
The API key lives in the Viber mobile app and nowhere else - not in a web console, and not in anything we can fetch for you. On the phone that administers the bot:
More → Settings → Bots → pick your bot → Edit Info → Your app key
Paste that value into Settings → Viber and press connect. We check it against Viber straight away, so a mistyped key tells you immediately rather than failing quietly on your first campaign. After that the token is stored encrypted and never shown again - if you ever regenerate it in the app, paste the new one over it.
What you control
| Setting | Where it shows up |
|---|---|
| Bot name and avatar | The name customers see in their chat list. |
| Welcome message | First contact, before they have joined the program. |
| Registration complete | Sent the moment they join. |
| Welcome back | A returning member opens the chat. |
| Default reply | The fallback when nothing else matches. |
| Button colours | Balance, rewards, scanner and help buttons, in your brand colours. |
What the bot can do
- The full AI agent. Same brain as the storefront widget - catalogue, order history, tier and balance. Not a menu tree.
- Points and rewards. Customers check their balance and redeem without leaving the chat.
- Automations and campaigns. Viber is a channel like any other - see Automations and Campaigns.
- Polls with buttons. A question with tappable answers that a flow can branch on.
Two things worth knowing
Customers without Viber are skipped silently. A Viber step in an automation simply does not run for them - it does not fall back to email on its own. If you want everyone reached, add a condition on has Viber and give the no path its own channel.
Every outbound message costs credits - 0.4 at the default rate, including poll sends. A conversation with the AI agent is billed separately, at 1 credit for the whole conversation rather than per message. A follow-up within 30 minutes counts as the same conversation and is not charged again.
